Street DogsCrooked Drunken Sons/Rustbelt Nation EP
Release date: 2013May21
Label: Pirates Press
Rating:  3.5/5

The latest EP from the Street Dogs is actually a radio promo that combines both their Crooked Drunken Sons and Rustbelt Nation EPs into one. I enjoyed the last release they put out and I look forward to their upcoming album. “Crooked Drunken Sons” is strongly reminiscent of their older material and with Mike McColgan on vocals, you might mistake it for a Dropkick Murphys (especially  the drums). “I Got Drunk” is a cover of an Uncle Tupelo track. Very good cover that gets me pumped. “We All Fall Apart” is mellow and folky. “Certain Fate” has a classic, catchy oi feel, bringing to mind The Business. I most certainly would love to check out their next release because it’s nice to take a break from crushing doom metal and let loose. Check this out!

FCC: Again, no lyrics available. Check with your ears.
