Mythomania
Indie rock/pop with soft female and male vocals. Brinking on the experimental, the distorted guitars of ex-Deerhoof member often back the breatly vocals. A pop album that manages to be deeper than it’s simplicity. RIYL Mirah, Shapes and Sizes Sugg#1, 7, 2, 4, 5, 11

The Space Between
Mid west rockers, The Layaways, blend different sub rock genres into one tidy package. From indie rock(Keep it to Yourself) to 60’s pop (All Around the World) they mix it up while keeping a consistent sound throughout the album. An upbeat album with a few mellow tracks, it has enough variety to keep it fresh.

Traveling Thru Time
Canadian rockers, The Swills, Debut album Traveling Thru Time is pretty standard fare. The lead singer sounds like a cross between Mark Knopfler and Jacob Dylan. I would classify these guys as bar rock. They have an upbeat, kinda melodic sound that would sound better with a pint in a dark club.
