Mark Mills “Want No Trouble” (EP)

Mark Mills’ new release “Want No Trouble” revives the sounds of the early 1980’s. Hearing the electric tones construct perfect dance anthems, I was reminded of The Carrie Diaries, Andy Warhol, and Interview Magazine. It seems that “Want No Trouble” was heavily influenced by New York City’s past lives, and the aura of the 80s that Mills then transformed by adding a more modern feel, ultimately creating the sense of an auditory time capsule. Listeners, if you want a cinematic sensation during your listening period, play tracks 6, 7, & 8, although there are many more great songs to discover.

Recommended tracks: 1, 2, 3, 4, 7, 8
