pond -“hobo rocket”

Members of Tame Impala make 60’s psych with 21st Century layered-chaos & easy-to-follow melodies.  Pond was born under a mulberry tree in Western Australia by Joseph Ryan, Nick Allbrook and Jay Watson. Under said mulberry tree they conceived an album of tropical psychedelic idiocy, which they performed that night at a friends party in North Perth. Hobo Rocket sticks to the group’s original sound, with enough variation to showcase the band’s maturing musical talent. Tracks like “Xanman”  and “Aloneaflameaflower” showcase a sonic onslaught of intoxicating jamming, contrasted by psychedelic ballads like “O Dharma” and “Giant Tortoise.”
