The Evil hail from Brazil with a sound described as leaning toward occult doom. Each track is named after the seven deadly sins. Envy plods along in a sludgy manner, heavily reminiscent of early doom. Greed grabs one by the throat, vocals piercing the wretched soul. Sloth kicks off with blast beats, segueing into sinister riffs accentuated by keyboards. Excellent drumming on Wrath, which wraps up this effort nicely. If you enjoy doom metal, you might like this.
