French musician Melody Prochet (see Melody’s Echo Chamber), just released Unfold. The album is wonderfully hypnotic and spacey. Described as the “lost follow-up album” to her debut, Unfold was recorded with Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker in Australia in 2013. The relationship didn’t make it through the process and she ended up deleting some of the music from those sessions. Seven songs survived the process and have been released on their own.
