theWorst is a indie-punk/rock trio from Portland, ME. Yes Regrets documents vocalist/guitarist Brooke Binion’s road to recovery from drug and alcohol abuse and mental health struggles. Album opener Blacksheepish is a strong start to the album. Energetic and emotional, it’s a tribute to a friend lost to suicide. Monomania combines determined punk rock grit with power pop tunefulness as Binion channels her best Joan Jett. The title track may be the strongest on the album. The lyrics are deeply personal and the tempo of the song rises and falls like a roller coaster before descending into a scream.
