Canadian death metallers The Blood of Christ are reissuing their early 1990’s demos from “The Lonely Flowers Of Autumn” (1995). These are rough mixes of blackened death metal hybrid that sound similar to a mashup of Carcass and Enslaved. The lyrics are more abstract and poetic than your average death metal fare. Check out In the Distance. It’s a lengthy and heavy grinder about a vampire who can not love a human woman due to his wretched existence and immortality.
