Release date: August 31, 2018
Label: Napalm Records

Black Mirrors plays that fuzzy rock that’s all the rage without bludgeoning the listener to death. Hailing from Belgium this band brings good old fashioned rock-n-roll on their debut full-length album. Shoes for Booze opens the album with killer guitar riffs and a boot to the face. Funky Queen was previously released on their debut EP. This track is cleaner than other tracks but provides a good starting point for the uninitiated listener. The album ebbs and flows until Moonstone, a of synth-heavy piece of astral rock. Günther Kimmich is a riotous track that was undoubtedly heavily influenced by Queens of the Stone Age. Burning Warriors is the foot-stomping epic that closes out the album with tales of the undead.

Watch out for this band! They haven’t quite distanced themselves from the pack of stoner rock bands flooding the air waves but raw talent suggests they’re capable.
