Uniable Thwange is a the debut album of Another Sexless Weekend… AKA… Julian Foster. The UVM student has a clear love for classic psychedelic rock n’ roll. His music bleeds 50’s and 60’s. Reminiscent of The Velvet Underground, The Rolling Stones, Chuck Berry. A wonderful collection of sounds, and danceable grooves on this record. The openeing track “Animals (Don’t Think About What’s Not There)” is an experimental acoustic soundscape, highlight by Cleo Flemming’s excellent Cello work; a dark and transcendent song. “Love To Hear You Say” is a psychedelic rocker, a mix of the Velvet Underground rock n’roll and Sgt. Peppers psychedelia. The whole album is a fine example of college indie garage rock. It’s a dirty, greasy, album.
