Empire Records is the 2nd EP from up and coming Norwegian band Sløtface. Energetic rock music with powerful female vocals and catchy melodies, reminds me a little bit of Metric’s first couple of albums. The title track is the most captivating song on the EP, with lyrics inspired by the title film and High Fidelity (this is the song with an FCC violation sadly). However, the EP provides another worthy single with “Take Me Dancing”.
