My first taste of Sam Roberts Band came in 2014 when I was in Montreal at Osheaga, and I was waiting for Childish Gambino to perform, and these guys played beforehand. Although I wasn;t the most thrilled with their performance then, I consider myself a fair guy, so I decided to give their new album a chance, and I honestly think if they played songs from this album when I saw them back in 2014 that I would have enjoyed the experience a lot more. On this album, they got a lot more experimental, and overall it worked for them. I would highly suggest checking this out if you wanted some quality experimental alternative rock.
