His Clancyness began as the solo-project of Canadian singer/guitarist Jonathan Clancy, but he has since evolved his project into a full fledged band. This album is my first taste of the group, but I have to say I was really enjoying what this album had to offer me. Overall, this music is very minimalist and noise-pop-esque, with very alien synthesizers, and very fidgeting guitar work. It’s pretty wild, but also hazy and I will be interested to see where these guys go in the future.
