Krakur-Krakur

NYC artist Krakaur’s self-titled album is a mix of Ambient and Downtempo with some hints of mellow Dubstep, Jazz and Prog Rock. The album has been described as having” blends of cyclical, almost mechanical, percussive accents built with wide watercolor strokes atop deep crashing waves of soft, misty pads. The vivid yet submerged sonic palette extending throughout all eleven recordings is bound together through recurring linear threads of nostalgic, warm, embracing static haze.” The music is dreamy yet has a distinct urban feel to it. Definitely worth a listen.
