Ezra Furman – “Big Fugitive Life”

Ezra Furman hails from Chicago, IL and he is the former lead-singer of Ezra Furman and the Harpoons. Since the band broke up in 2011, Ezra has still steadily been releasing quality projects. Last year he released his album Perpetual Motion People, which I thought was very good, and he is following that up with a quality EP. Big Fugitive Life only has six songs and it’s under half an hour long, But Furman still manages to provide quality rock tracks in such a short time. The first three track are catchy, mad, and are loaded with energy. The second three are slow-burning acoustic tracks, and the juxtaposition of the tracks is perfect! Definitely worth the listen, for sure!
