Direct Hit hail from Milwaukee. Promo material claims that this album is a concise version of Green Day‘s American Idiot. Ok, if you say so. “Artificial Confidence” starts off with a standard pop punk vibe. Favorites include “Paid in Brains“, “Was It The Acid?“(was it?), “Bleach Music“, “Villain Alcoholic” and “Do The Sick“. Plenty of drugs about songs and drinking. Not nearly as psychedelic as I’d hoped. Scope it out.

FCC: 1 for sure. Lyrics hard to read, not dazed enough.
