The Crane Wives are a four-piece Americana/indie-folk group hailing from Grand Rapids, MI, and “Foxlore” is their fourth studio album. This album is different than their previous releases, as it is their first without banjo player Tom Gunnels, so the EP takes more of an indie-folk direction than their typical Americana style. These songs are primarily acoustic guitar driven, and overall it is a very mellow, and enjoyable listen.
