New Madrid – magnetkingmagnetqueen (Normaltown Records)

The psychedelic rock group moves towards a rawer, garage rock blues sound on their newest album. This album is loaded with heavy and fuzzy vocals, and chord progressions. Lengthy instrumentals on a few tracks, specifically “Guay Lo,” features an 11-minute instrumental where almost no exploration happens (avoid if looking for insteresting jam).
