After a seven year hiatus, which included a fallout with their original record label, power-pop rockers Dressy Bessy are back, and just as energetic as ever. On Kingsized, the guitars are fuzzy and heavy, but the tracks are still bright and catchy. Although they aren’t reinventing the wheel on this album, Dressy Bessy still provides a solid foundation to make catchy and hook-driven power-pop tunes.
