Birds Say is the sophomore album from Darlingside, a folk-pop quartet from Massachusetts with strong vocal harmonies and instantly captivating songs that cover a wide arrange of emotions. This album presents a change in sound for them and it really feels like they have found themselves. They no longer have a drummer, and the four members alternate between acoustic guitar, bass, mandolin, banjo, violin and cello, and sing in four part harmony around one microphone. With catchy, energetic singles like “Go Back” and “Harrison Ford” and more intimate songs like “White Horses” and “Clay & Cast Iron”, Darlingside seem poised to become a successful national touring act.
