Very safe 5 song EP of outtakes from last album. Nothing amazing, but a couple of new Decemberists’ songs, nonetheless. This EP kinda of focuses on their fascination with ’80s college rock. Filled with ringing guitars and taut melodies, these could all be covers of old R.E.M., or Elvis Costello tracks.
