With a similar sound to his America, this album has a calmer side that features a lot more layers of sounds rather than a focus on percussion. Fans will be happy with this new addition to the album that keeps the perpetual, electrical noise party that is Dan Deacon going. Sampled, cartoonish voices are surrounded by Deacon’s robotic voice as more voices, some human, others mechanical, join in these songs creating a palette as colorful as the cover of the album.
