Kodomo-Patterns & Light

The latest from artist Kodomo is titled Patterns and Light. The music is the combination of Chris Child’s (a.k.a. Kodomo) upbringing in 80’s Japan, his love of IDM and early Warp label artists and the influences of classical artists such as Chopin, Schubert and Bach. The music itself has a futuristic, Sci-Fi feel and is mostly IDM but with Classical, Dark Ambient, Electro Hop and Minimal Techno. Even though the music has a futuristic feel and at times can be cold there is a warmth to the tracks which in turn adds depth to the tracks. Kodomo has released a ton of music but what he has released has been of the highest quality and this album is no different.
