Spectre Vex is an 8 track mini album from Illum Sphere made for Record Store Day and features new material as well as remixes from his debut Ghosts of Then and Now. The music a mix of Bass Music, Dark Synth Dance and Ambient Dance with elements of Drum & Bass. The tracks are dark but have good beats to them with the synths doing the bulk of the heavy lifting. The tracks have a nice variety to them with several remixing artists (Legowelt, Lone and Zed Bias to name a few) adding their sound to the album. Illum Sphere is proving to be a force these days and this album helps to cement his skill and talent.
