The Jungle Giants are a band from Australia who have reissued their 2012 EP She’s a Riot for a wider audience. Their music sounds like a more pop oriented version of The Strokes or Arctic Monkeys, but with jangly guitars and a summery vibe. The songs on this EP are very radio friendly. The lead single “She’s a Riot” is very catchy and I can see it becoming a hit on Modern Rock stations in the U.S. The other songs are similar: pleasant to listen to but don’t stand out as much as the single. It’s a good EP if you want to listen to something that reminds you of warmer weather.
