Indie rock about New York City. An upbeat expression of being young and experiencing live in the Big Apple. We hear many elements of funk, reggae, and afrobeat – especially on tracks 3, 8, 9. But then we hear track 10, “Nice Hat,” a hard-hitting punk quip. There’s lots of variety on this album, and it’s worth exploring.
