Sierra Leone’s Refugee All Stars (Cumbancha) Libation.  This is the fourth studio album from this West African band. The album features a range of highlife and reggae-infused tracks with some Afro-Latin rhythms to spice it up. Produced by Montreal singer-songwriter Chris Velan, who produced their first album, and recorded in Charlotte, Vermont. The album has a mellow, acoustic sound and features a variety of vintage guitars and hand percussion. It also pays tribute to Sierra Leonean folklore, basing the songs on styles of music that the band members listened to in their youth but are not heard as often today. Play all.
