Les Claypool’s Duo De Twang–“Four Foot Shack”

Les Claypool is back with his new conglomeration of down-home, twangy rock with this latest iteration of all things Les. As the name suggests, the album is a duo featuring Les Claypool and Bryan Kehoe. The album features two covers of Primus songs: “Winona’s Big Brown Beaver,” and “Jerry Was A Race Car Driver.” Three Fearless Flying Frog Brigade songs make the cut, as well as a great cover of the Bee Gee’s “Stayin’ Alive,” and the surf rock classic “Pipeline.”
Overall, the trademark funky bass and bluegrassesque sound of the album rule the day and it’s pure magic.
