Josef Suk–Romance

“Romance” musically has evolved to mean quiet and sentimental in emotion, with a central melody, sometimes part of a larger work, but not always. This CD has examples of Romantic pieces by Dvorak, Tchaikovsky, Fibich (considered  a highly exemplary composer of Romantic pieces), Beethoven and others exquisitely performed by Josef Suk on violin with orchestra. Play any, but tracks by Fibich, Tchaikovsky and Beethoven’s Op. 50 are especially emotive.
