Cold War Kids – Miracle Mile

Say what you will about their last album (or two) but Cold War Kids are not afraid to try new things. From the soulful garage revival of Robbers & Cowards to the theatrical Loyalty to Loyalty to the 2000s arena rock of Mine Is Yours they are never content to stay the course. So it’s no surprise that on their latest release, Dear Miss Lonelyhearts, they try out a bit of down and clean indie pop. Lonelyhearts, although it is not something we’ve never seen before, is something new for Cold War Kids and is possibly their most hook-filled release to date.
